February was a brilliant month for awards at PKF Smith Cooper, after we were named finalists and winners for two award events during the same week!

During National Apprenticeship Week, we were thrilled to be announced as finalists in the Best Employer (medium) category at The Apprenticeship Guide Awards! These awards were created to celebrate employers and training providers who enable their apprentices to flourish. The winner will be crowned at a black-tie event in Manchester on 1st May, we’re keeping our fingers crossed!

Just one week later, several members of our Birmingham team attended the first ever West Midlands Business Hero Awards, where it was announced that PKF Smith Cooper had been named ‘Accountancy Employer of the Year’!

The Business Hero Awards shine a spotlight on local businesses and professionals who champion diversity, inclusion and equality, while also recognising distinguished leaders, outstanding professionals and rising stars in the industry.
