Executive PA
Job title: Executive Personal Assistant (PA) (Corporate Finance and Transactions Tax)
Location: Birmingham (open to hybrid but 2-3 days in office required)
Contract: Full-time

In this role, you will support the Partners by scheduling meetings, managing emails, assisting with pitching documents and researching potential purchasers for the Corporate Finance and Transactions Tax teams. You will also be responsible for the new client onboarding process including drafting engagement letters, conducting anti-money laundering checks, and entering information into our internal system. From supporting with events, to research and plenty of learning opportunities, this position offers a great deal of variety, with no two days being the same.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience as a PA. Experience in a similar firm would be an added benefit.
The important work you will be doing:
- Collaborate with teams on team events and initiatives
- Filter and prioritise emails, providing administrative support for email management handling sensitive information confidentially
- Assist in the preparation of pitch documents and PowerPoint presentations
- Refine information memorandums (IMs) as needed
- Conduct research on potential purchasers and create profiles on those businesses
- Prepare and issue conflict check emails
- Oversee the onboarding process for new clients, including anti-money laundering (AML) compliance and engagement letters
- Complete ethical checklists for review
- Record targets and client information in our CRM (Workbooks)
- Prepare inventories of company books and records and manage the storage of these
The skills and experience you will bring:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Personal Assistant
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook))
- Ability to utilise company research databases (such as Fame and MarketIQ)
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong initiative and self-drive
- A proactive mindset - anticipating needs, taking initiative, and driving projects forward independently
- A curious mindset and a desire to continuously learn and grow
- A willing and approachable manner
- Experience in an accounting firm is beneficial, but not mandatory
