As we continue to grow within the business recovery and insolvency team, we are seeking a determined candidate to join our award-winning team and help support the rapid growth of this department. This role will involve supporting the senior leadership team in business partnering and advising clients as they go through their company's difficult period.
We expect this role to be an excellent stepping stone for somebody who really wants to make a mark within the insolvency industry. With an excellent support network, culture, and social calendar to help you along your journey.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in this field of work and have previous experience in different types of insolvency procedures. Most importantly, they should have the right attitude and personality to fit the team.
The important work you will be doing includes:
- Support the management of a portfolio of insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and bankruptcies.
- Assisting in identifying prospective clients and preparing documentation to comply with Money Laundering rules and regulations.
- Investigate directors' conduct and company affairs, preparing detailed reports as required.
- Communicate effectively with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders throughout the process.
- Supporting the team with client visits to carry out work and retrieve necessary books and records.
- Attending meetings with key stakeholders.
- Assist Managers and Partners in developing and implementing case strategies.
The skills and experience you will bring:
- Previous experience using IPS software.
- 1-3 years of experience in insolvency or a similar position.
- Good knowledge of insolvency processes and previous experience in different types of insolvency procedures.
- Experience in interpreting accounting information would be advantageous, as would proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
