Audit Associate - 1-2 years' experience

Salary is negotiable and will depend on the candidate’s experience and where they are with their studies. We are looking to hear from ambitious individuals with at least 1-2 years' of audit experience.

As a talented auditor, you will be joining our thriving Audit Department in one of our high-performing teams across Derby or Birmingham. A fully funded study package would be available for candidates to complete their ACA/ACCA studies. Throughout the programme you will be fully supported so you can reach your full potential.

You will be joining one of our vibrant and ambitious teams, and you will be a key player in developing the audit business which will be scaled up alongside the continued growth of the wider practice.
We work with ambitious owner-managed businesses of different sizes across a variety of sectors – no two jobs are the same so we’re looking for someone who can adapt. Our audit clients span many sectors including technology, distribution, and manufacturing, together with not-for-profit organisations, including academies and charities.
The important work you will be doing:
- You would report directly to our team of audit managers and audit partners and will work exclusively on audit assignments, with an opportunity to work closely with directors/partners.
- You would be involved in all aspects of the audit assignments including planning, completion, coaching junior team members, and you would be responsible for preparing high-quality audit files for manager review.
- You will work predominantly on-site at client premises, with significant exposure to client staff and management.
The skills and experience you will bring:
- You will need 1-2 years' experience in a similar position.
- A keen interest in advising and assisting businesses and a willingness to engage and communicate with client personnel.
- Strong technical ability and proven track record of academic achievement
- The ability to work in a team with a personable approach.
- Hard-working and a willingness to complete audits to deadlines. Additionally, it is expected you have a full-driving licence and access to a car.
